How to claim the Deposit Bonus:

DC Lottery’s First Time Deposit Bonus Rules

The DC Lottery will conduct a First Ever Deposit Bonus, in which DC Lottery iLottery account holders who have not previously made a deposit into their DC iLottery accounts will receive a 100% bonus on qualifying deposits, up to a maximum of $275 in Bonus Money. This applies across the online and mobile channels equally.

BONUS PERIOD. The bonus period begins after 06:00:00 a.m. on May 6, 2024. An end time will be announced through media used to advertise or promote the Promotion or through normal communications methods.

BONUS DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS.
A. The Bonus provides a reward to players who make their initial deposits into their DC Lottery iLottery accounts during the bonus period and meet the wagering requirements as set forth herein.
B. To qualify for the Bonus, during the bonus period the player must make their first deposit of $10 or more into their DC Lottery iLottery account as a single deposit either through the online channel or the DC Lottery App.
C. Players who meet the Bonus requirements will be awarded Bonus Money totaling 100% of their qualifying initial deposit up to the Maximum Deposit Bonus Amount. The Maximum Deposit Bonus that will be awarded to any player as a result of participating is $275 in Bonus Credit funds.
D. The Bonus Money are subject to all restrictions and limitations as set forth in the www.dcilottery.com Terms and Conditions and the www.dcilottery.com Bonus Policy.
E. All money awarded under this Bonus will be awarded as Bonus Credit Funds. Bonus Credit funds cannot be withdrawn until the play requirements for converting the Bonus Money to Cash have been completed as set forth herein. In order to convert the Bonus Money to Cash, the player must wager the total value of the Bonus Money amount claimed. For example:
- First, a player deposits $100 into their DC Lottery iLottery account;
- Second, the player is awarded $100 in Bonus Credit Funds;
- Third, the player is required to place $100 in wagers before the Bonus Credit Funds becomes Cash. After the bonus funds are turned to cash, the player is free to withdraw them from their iLottery account.
- Note: The bonus amount credited to the player upon successful completion of the qualifying deposit shall be used for play only after the real money balance has been depleted.
F. Bonus Money must be played either at www.dcilottery.com or the DC Lottery Mobile App and expires 60 days after the Bonus Money is credited to the player’s DC Lottery iLottery account. Failure to play the Bonus Money through within 60 days of the Bonus Credit Funds being credited to the player’s account will result in the forfeiture of the Bonus Money.
G. Whilst wagering for the bonus and to the end of turning the bonus money to real all winnings associated with turning the bonus to real after the point of the initial deposit shall be locked until the completion of the bonus. All relevant winnings shall be automatically released to the player upon the completion of the bonus wagering requirements.
H. DC Lottery reserves the right to change or terminate the Bonus at any time without cause, including, but not limited to, technical errors, typos, manipulations, and irregular account activity.
I. Closure of a player’s DC Lottery iLottery account will render the Bonus void.

INDEMNITY AND RELEASE. By entering this Promotion or by accepting Bonus Money awarded through this promotion, each player agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Government of the District of Columbia, the DC Lottery and their respective officers, employees, agents, representatives, co-promoters, advertising agencies and contractors (“Promotion Entities”) from liability for any claims arising out of, or related to this Promotion.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. All decisions regarding the Promotion including, without limitation, Bonus Money awarded, application and interpretation of the Promotion Rules, resolution of any dispute or Promotion eligibility shall rest solely with the Executive Director of the DC Lottery ("Executive Director") or the Executive Director’s designee and shall not be subject to appeal. The Promotion is subject to cancellation at any time. The Executive Director reserves the right to change and supersede any outlined procedures or rules to handle unforeseen circumstances. The Promotion Entities are not responsible or liable for entries that are not otherwise in compliance with these Promotion Rules, whether caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion, or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of Eligible Entries into the Promotion, or for failure to receive Eligible Entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind and such noncompliant entries will be disqualified.

GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE. This Promotion shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws and regulations of the District of Columbia. Venue shall be in an appropriate court of jurisdiction located in the District of Columbia.
